چکیده
Recently, extensive research within the concrete industry has been devoted to a sustainable approach by using waste as natural aggregate replacement. The reason is that volumes of building-related generated nowadays are becoming significant threat environment but they may be used useful material in construction industry. Hence, this study aims investigate effects recycled aggregates partial fine replacement mortar cubes and wall panels. Mortar panels sized 70.7 mm x 1000 300 100 mm, respectively, were prepared. was mixed into at percentages 0%, 50% 100% total volume designated 0RCA, 50RCA 100RCA, respectively. samples both assessed under compressive strength test. tested ages 3 days, 14 days 28 days. Meanwhile, compressively loaded for more than It found 0RCA represented highest compared other 100RCA 46.6% 38.8%, ultimate load 203.26 kN with effectiveness 179.75% This indicates can production

Recycled glass as a partial replacement for fine aggregate in structural concrete – Effects on compressive strength
Waste management is becoming a major issue for communities worldwide. Glass, being nonbiodegradable, is not suitable for addition to landfill, and as such recycling opportunities need to be investigated. Due to the high material consumption of the construction industry, the utilisation of waste glass as a partial replacement for fine aggregate in structural concrete is particularly attractive. ...
متن کاملReactivity in Recycled Concrete Aggregate
Full scale tests with crushed concrete used in sub-bases in roads show that the material has capacity to reharden, very slowly but also after prolonged periods of time. The rehardening process in crushed concrete aggregate has been analysed with a thermogravimetric method, comparing the change in chemical composition in the aggregate when set with water, compacted and hardened. It has been show...
متن کاملAssessing relationships among properties of demolished concrete, recycled aggregate and recycled aggregate concrete using regression analysis.
Recycled demolished concrete (DC) as recycled aggregate (RA) and recycled aggregate concrete (RAC) is generally suitable for most construction applications. Low-grade applications, including sub-base and roadwork, have been implemented in many countries; however, higher-grade activities are rarely considered. This paper examines relationships among DC characteristics, properties of their RA and...
متن کاملRecycled Plastics as Coarse Aggregate for Structural Concrete
The use of plastic is increasing day by day, although steps were taken to reduce its consumption. This creates substantial garbage every day which is much unhealthy. A healthy and sustainable reuse of plastics offers a host of advantages. The suitability of recycled plastics as coarse aggregate in concrete and its advantages are discussed here. The initial questions arising of the bond strength...

Landfill sites are becoming over crowded and expensive for waste disposal, efforts are made to minimize the quantities of materials that are delivered to landfills. The threat due to leaching of non-biodegradable materials like waste plastics, scrap tyres. e-waste may contaminate the soil and ground water. If the production of waste cannot be prevented, then it is attractive to create an altern...
